**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Head of Internal Audit.

The successful applicant will be accountable to the Chief Finance Officer for the planning, execution and delivery of internal audits for the Northern Adelaide Health Local Health Network (NALHN). This includes:
Formulating and implementing the network’s internal audit frameworks, plans and procedures that impact on whole of Network operations;
Providing expert advice, consultancy and recommendations on internal audit and assurance matters to executives, divisions and services within the NALHN;
Conducting independent assurance and consultative reviews of critical business processes and service lines in accordance with professional standards;
Providing advice on risk, controls and governance; and leading, managing, supporting, building and enhancing the assurance capabilities within the NALHN.

To be eligible for this position, you must have an appropriate Degree, Diploma of Associate Diploma qualification in Accounting or Economics.
