Service Desk Team Lead

u&u Recruitment Partners are proud to be partnering with one of Queensland's largest Government Departments to recruit an experienced Service Desk Team Lead. This is an initial 6-month day rate contract with likely extensions based in Brisbane CBD.
As the Service Desk Lead, you will have or be able to demonstrate:
Well organised, positive attitude and high energy profile
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Highly self-motivated and directed;
3+ years as a Service Desk Manager or Team Lead, managing and supervising the operations of service desk technicians;
Experience in the effective use of ITIL process of change management, capacity planning, incident management and risk management;
Driving team culture which includes taking part in the resolution of service tickets where needed, working with other members of the Digital Technologies team to improve service levels, response times and customer satisfaction;
Experience in the triaging and prioritisation of helpdesk tickets;
Being the point of escalation for Service Desk issues;
Experience in using the JIRA Service Desk ITSM tool; and
Manage on-boarding / off-boarding of employees in line with procedures and conduct formal regular access reviews.

**Fosters healthy and inclusive workplaces**: Fosters an inclusive workplace where health, safety and wellbeing is promoted and prioritised.
