Hays Technology are currently partnered with a well-established Federal Government Client to appoint an experienced Business Systems Service Desk Manager to a 6-month contract

**Your new role**

As the Service Desk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Business Systems Service Desk. Your personality and energy will be evident. You will become one of our technical leaders by learning and understanding the systems we support, and continue to develop the positive, can-do culture of the team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include:

- Lead and manage the Business Systems Service Desk team, providing clear direction, coaching, and support
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
- Identify and nurture individual strengths and recognise areas for improvement, promoting professional growth
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans and training programs
- Manage the allocation of resources to meet service level agreements (SLAs)

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in attaining this role, you will have:

- Experience with establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Expertise with gathering and analysing customer feedback to drive Service Desk improvements
- In-depth experience implementing customer service standards and monitor team adherence
- Extensive experience with defining and monitoring Service Levels Agreements (SLA’s)
- Continuously review and enhance Service Desk processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
