As an Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the imaging practices in your region, which involves ensuring that the service provided to patients and referring doctors is of high quality and that the commercial outcomes from them meet business expectations. You will be responsible for the strategy for each individual practice, completing capital investment for equipment and other assets required for your practices and for providing strategic input into growing the business in your area. This role is expected to achieve excellence in customer service, including the ability to lead by example.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in an effective, high performing business unit leadership and management team that formulates the strategic direction of the business unit overall, translates strategy into plans and action at a regional and individual site level, and monitors performance in order to achieve defined objectives and targets
- Support and promote growth initiatives across the business and ensure marketing plans are developed and implemented in order to drive revenue and profitability improvements, increase procedure numbers and improve site/s referrer satisfaction profiles
- Manage, support and promote the implementation of financial and commercial policies and in particular, drive and embed a commitment to diligently manage and control costs in order to achieve or exceed budget targets
- Drive the proactive management of operational and site management processes, systems and standards within all sites and across the region in order to achieve quality, cost and productivity targets
- Implement and manage quality, risk and service management and continuous improvement processes within the region and individual sites
- Ensure staff understand how they contribute to the performance of the business, provide them with direction, support and recognition, and promote collaboration, cooperation and teamwork through effective leadership and management strategies
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the development of others and implementation of effective performance management systems across the site/s

Skills & Experience Required:

- University or equivalent qualification in Medical Imaging Technology and/or Business Degree is desirable but not essential
- 3-5 years’ experience in a management role, preferably in Healthcare with a strong commercial background
- Demonstrated experience in project planning and management
- Demonstrated ability to prepare business plans in accordance with set requirements
- Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen, including the ability to prepare and analyse financial data and reports
- Superior level of relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and change management
- A sound working knowledge of the industry, including relevant technology and equipment
- Ability to identify and promote opportunities for business growth and development
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated human resource management skills including leadership and teamwork
- Excellent organisation skills and an ability to set and action priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
