The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Project Support Officer to provide a critical role within the Tobacco Regulation Project.

**About the Business Unit**

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) provides a range of government programs and services focused on improving community safety, victim services, regulatory services and crime prevention, and building strong collaboration across the justice system. Located in the Integrity, Regulation and Legal Services (IRLS) group, the Tobacco Regulation Project (TRP) has been established to deliver the Victorian Government's commitment to implement a tobacco regulation and licensing scheme.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Executive Director, Tobacco Regulation Project and supporting the Director, Corporate Services and Operations and Director Legislation, Policy and Engagement, the Project Support Officer will be responsible for coordinating and managing a range of administrative and operational tasks to support the TRP.

As a Project Support Officer, some of your duties will include:

- Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including calendar management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements.
- Assist in planning, executing and monitoring projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Proactively identify and address risks and issues in projects and daily operations, ensuring effective resolution and mínimal disruption to services.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in supporting corporate services and office management.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- An understanding of records management and compliance.
- An appropriate qualification or equivalent experience in fields of project support or other relevant disciplines would be desirable.
