Part-time temporary Admin role - Local Council

**Your new company**

This local council is considered the southernmost local government in Australia, known for its natural beauty, charm and rich heritage.

**Your new role**

Only 30 minutes’ drive from Hobart’s CBD, my client is in need of an admin professional 3 days a week to assist the Council’s Sustainable Development Services Department.

Your core duties will be providing general support to the office and will include duties such as.
- Provide high level reception/secretarial skills
- Be first point of call for the Department
- Provide Diary Management skills
- Support the coordination of responses to all requests for information, briefings, and correspondence
- Formatting documentation, handling of general correspondence
- Coordinating agendas and distribution of reports to relevant stakeholders
- Data entry
- Coordination of meetings.

- Any other ad hoc administration support required

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful, you will be an experienced Administration Assistant with a proven record of supporting senior executives.

You will have:

- excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- excellent time management skills, outstanding attention to detail
- the confidence to undertake administrative and clerical duties quickly but accurately
- the capacity to exercise initiative, discretion, and sound judgement
- experience with MS Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new technology and procedures
- Local government and operational knowledge of ECM, Exponare (GIS program) and Pathway systems are highly desirable

**What you'll get in return**
