**About the role**

We have a unique opportunity for a driven self starter with maintenance experience to put their passion for service delivery and variety to good use, providing safe and efficient maintenance services for the broad MercyCare facilities portfolio, with a high a regard for clients and visitors at all times.

Working closely with and reporting in to the Maintenance Lead, no two days will be the same as you assess the day to day maintenance requirements that arise, evaluating the repairs and resources required for effective and timely resolution. You will also maintain clinical equipment, carry out scheduled maintenance programmes as required and accompany specialised trades and contractors to achieve the best possible outcome for the Property and Procurement team.

**About you**

The successful individual will be flexible, energised, organised and ‘hands on’, cross collaborating effectively with their immediate teams and broader work groups as and when required to get the job done. Whether you’re on the road visiting the various Facilities MercyCare own across Perth, or in the office preparing plans, maintenance reports or attending meetings you will approach your day with a positive team focused mindset and safety and quality at the forefront

Your resilience and ‘can do’ approach will see you to success in this role as will your previous similar experience in a maintenance or trade based role.

You will also require the following:

- Evidence of safety related training
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite and able to monitor and manage work tasks
- Planning and time management
- Resilience and perseverance in managing in managing multiple deadlines
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
- Evidence of Covid and Influenza Vaccination (preferable)
- Drivers License
