**Our purpose**:
Energy is going through the biggest wave of disruption in generations. We’re a renewable-focused energy company that’s loving this disruption and using it to get more clean power into the grid by working with industry-leading companies to give customers competitively-priced renewables.

**The role**:
We’re looking for a driven and structured sales leader to head up a key growth area, which provides energy solutions to building developers, owners corporations and strata managers. Rather than focus simply on parcelling up traditional grid power for customers in apartment buildings, you’ll look for ways to add smart energy technology - such as solar PV and battery storage - to clients at zero cost down. You’ll identify ways in which our product could be better and influence internal stakeholders to continually improve our service and product offering.

You’ll be a critical and influential member of our leadership team, contributing greatly to company strategy, business planning and culture.

**What you’ll do**:
**Community energy networks - lead existing team**:

- Lead the existing sales team which has people based in multiple States
- Organise the team for success, working with key stakeholders such as the COO and CFO to define key operating procedures

**Build a high performance sales culture**:

- Define and oversee the key operating procedures that will help underpin the running and expansion of a high performing sales organisation

**Significantly expand the community energy networks team**:

- Develop a new strategy and resourcing model to focus on the retention of existing community energy network clients well in advance of their contract renewal dates
- Attract and retain the right team members that will significantly grow the size of the team over the next 6-12 months

**Cross-sell smart energy solutions to existing and new community energy network clients**:

- Working with others leadership team members to ensure the sales team has the ability to easily offer clients access to behind the meter solar PV and energy storage
- Define a sales strategy for the sale of these value-add products

**Help lead the direction and culture of the business**:

- Along with other leadership team members, be accountable for the direction of the entire business
- Identify new potential avenues of growth and opportunities for improving the way the business executes
- Take shared accountability for the success of other leadership team members and their functions

**What you’ve got**:

- Demonstration of successful leadership of high performance sales function

**Energy market (Community Energy Networks)**:

- Rounded experience of community energy network sector
- A passion for renewable energy and the drive to improve Australia’s energy system

**Customer focus**:

- Strong enough relationships with tier 1 building developer clients

**Process orientation**:

- Experience in defining and running multi-disciplinary processes in complex businesses

**Commercial acumen**:

- Ability to design and contract solutions that provide customers with value
