**National Sales Manager - Neuroscience**
Eli Lilly, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking for a visionary National Sales Manager to build and lead a team to launch a breakthrough medicine in the Australian market. Following over 30 years of investment in research and development, Lilly are planning to launch a new therapy in this area of great unmet need for patients and carers.
The National Sales Manager role is primarily responsible for executing the sales strategy of Lilly’s first molecule for the treatment of this condition, from the development of strategy through to the operational implementation of customer sales solutions. As the sales leader, you will be required to understand the business strategy and align the sales strategy based on customer operational readiness and local environmental considerations. This will be achieved through an established and deep understanding of the local market, in-depth customer insights, and formulating an engagement strategy that positions Eli Lilly as a leader in this therapy area.
Lilly has a strong pipeline in neuroscience, and the National Sales Manager will also play a role in helping to co-ordinate the organisations’ strategy in regard to the evolution of the neuroscience business unit franchise.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute a cutting-edge national sales strategy for the new medicine, in alignment with Eli Lilly's vision and goals.
- Recruit, coach, and inspire a high performing national team, ensuring they exceed their sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key though leaders and stakeholders in the therapy area.
- Analyse sales data and market trends and provide feedback and recommendations to shape strategy and exceed customer expectations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards.

**Experience and background requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the neuroscience or neurology area.
- Recent experience working with cognitive neurology customers would be seen as highly desirable
- Proven track record of launching innovative products and achieving sales growth.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environments, and solve problems creatively.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the country and occasionally overseas.
