Our Company Corporate Demolition and the Recycled Building Centre, a leading demolition and recycling company, is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a full-time Bookkeeper and Administration Clerk. This position offers competitive compensation and the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger entries.
- Utilize your expertise in Xero software to manage financial transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and correspondence management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
- Weekly
1. Payroll processing
2. Bank reconciliation
3. Credit cards reconciliation
4. Credit card balance monitoring and topping up
5. DEXT processing
6. Single Touch Payroll STP lodgement
Monthly
1. BAS/IAS preparation, lodgement and payment
2. Super payment
3. Assets processing
4. Company credit cards reconciliation
Quarterly
1. Fuel tax credit calculation
2. Reconciliation of inter-company loan balances
3. All accounts reviewed.
Annually
1. TPAR report
2. All accounts reconciliation
3. Sales reconciliation
4. Single Touch Payroll (STP) Year End Finalisation
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper and administration clerk, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in Xero software and other relevant accounting tools.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of demolition and recycling industry practices (preferred but not required).
