**Health Information Services Clerk**
- Permanent Full Time Position (5 days per week, 8 hours per day)

- We have an exciting opportunity to come and join our join our dynamic Health Information Services team in a prepping/scanning based role, located on site at Maroondah Hospital.
We are looking for positive, motivated individuals, with high attention to detail to join our great team, in a behind the scenes role, working on preparing medical records for scanning.- As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring patient medical records (in paper forms) are prepared for scanning involving quality checking the documents and ensuring they are ready to be scanned.You will be responsible for scanning the prepared documents in a timely manner, to ensure they are available for electronic viewing by clinical staff for ongoing clinical care and decision making.- In addition to those duties, you will be required to maintaining the quality of the scanned, as well as both our electronic medical record (EMR) and paper medical records, and you may be required to do other clerical and administrative duties as requested.You may at times be required to also assist with other tasks in our Release of Information/Information Release service, which is also based within our Health Information Services at Maroondah Hospital - Health Information Service.- Please note, this role requires you to be onsite at all times, there is no ability to work from home. You must be available to work as rostered (ie day or afternoon shifts).**About you**
