We’re seeking a driven and empathetic Practice Operations Manager to guide our talented team, ensure client satisfaction, and optimise our practice operations. This is a brand new, long term, stable role in our centrally located Spring Hill office.
**Your Role**:
- ** Inspire and Lead**: You will manage and nurture a dynamic team of bookkeepers, ensuring they reach their full potential in a positive and collaborative setting. Your focus will be on upholding high standards, supporting the team, maintaining KPIs and fostering a balanced work-life dynamic.
- ** Positive Client Experiences**: Taking charge of the client onboarding process, you will ensure every client experiences a smooth transition and high level service.
- ** Streamline and Innovate**: While overseeing and enhancing our operating systems, you will drive the adoption of innovative technologies to make our workflows more efficient and effective.
**What You’ll Be Doing Daily**:
- Oversee workflow and keep the office running smoothly.
- Support the employee life cycle from onboarding, regular check ins, annual reviews and the professional development calendar.
- Lead daily huddles and meetings to keep everyone aligned, supported and motivated.
- Act as the central hub for new tech implementations and practice enhancements.

**About You**
You will be an experienced manager with engaging communication skills and fosters a strong, positive team culture. You will be the glue that brings everything together. Your love of technology and innovation will drive efficiency through smart solutions. An ideal background would be a practice manager, operations manager or finance and administration manager. We would also consider a personal or executive assistant who is looking for more of a team focused, operational role.
You will have strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities, adapt and manage workloads effectively. Your commercial mindset will have a sharp focus on achieving business goals while nurturing team growth.
Experience in a bookkeeping firm is not essential however proficiency in working with a fee for service team would be highly regarded. Proficiency in Xero and even XPM would be helpful but is not essential.

Established in 2001, we are early adopters of modern technology, and have a diverse group of interesting clients in a multitude of industries such as film and television, creative agencies, architects, truck drivers, law firms, start ups and construction companies. Our mission is to relieve the pressure of financial record keeping and reporting for small and medium-sized businesses. We work alongside our clients in a support role or manage their entire bookkeeping and administration functions.
We are an eclectic team including a tennis champion, chorale singer, margarita master, avid cooks, bookworm, scout leader, travel enthusiasts, dog lovers, bakers and a barista sista. Many of us are working parents too, and while we are working at Go Figured we are extraordinary bookkeepers.
