The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) is looking for an Assistant Project Officer to join the Scheme Design, Policy & Performance (Motor Accidents Insurance Regulation) Directorate.

**About Us**

The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW - Workers Compensation, Motor Accidents Insurance Regulation (MAIR) and Home Building Compensation, and also has some regulatory functions in other NSW insurance schemes including the Lifetime Care and Support and Dust Diseases schemes.

This role sits in the Scheme Design, Policy & Performance (MAIR) Directorate. We work across a broad range of policy issues in workers compensation including legal, financial and operational issues.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and updates on current deliverables.
- Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project to support informed decision making and planning for the team.
- Assist the team to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the team.
- Provide a range of administrative services, including coordination of meetings and preparing documentation, to support project delivery.
