About the team
The projects team sits within the Long Service Corporation and provides operational policy, projects, and Industry Committee support.

The Team also undertakes projects to meet Audit recommendations and provides a range of business support functions to the Corporation.

This role supports the Projects team with administrative and research support. It is perfect for someone looking to gain skills and experience in projects or formal committees. The team is highly collaborative and supportive with a focus on skills building for all members.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect, collate and track data to support the team in meeting planned delivery targets and undertake reporting tasks.
  • Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to support the delivery of projects and compliance with agreed project management methodology.
  • Undertake research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues.

Key challenges

  • Managing a workload with varying levels of priority.
  • Completing tasks to agreed methodologies.
  • Establishing and maintaining a network of professional contacts within the Corporation and the wider BRD environment.

  • Have experience or transferable experience supporting client services and project teams
  • Be a selfstarter with good time management
  • Be an advocate for continual improvement
