**About the role**
Are you a creative and strategic communicator with a passion for student engagement? **TAFE SA** is seeking an energetic **Student Communications and Events Officer** to take the lead in enhancing student engagement. This role offers the opportunity to work with students, internal teams, and external partners, delivering impactful communications and well-organised events that enrich the student journey across multiple platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and deliver clear, accessible communication products tailored to student needs.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage student engagement events and campus activities throughout the academic calendar.
- Produce engaging written, visual, and video content aligned with TAFE SA’s brand and communication strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication across various teams and platforms.
- Monitor and report on communication performance, suggesting improvements for future initiatives.
- Maintain alignment with TAFE SA’s policies and government guidelines.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in planning and executing communications, engagement strategies, and events within an educational or related context.
- **Technical Ability**: Proficiency in content development tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Microsoft Office) and knowledge of graphic design principles for digital and print media.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- **Stakeholder** **Management Skills**: Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, advisory groups, and external partners.
- A Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations is highly desirable.
