Our client, Alfabs Group, is an Australian-owned heavy engineering company who value their people, clients, and community. Due to growth, Alfabs are now seeking a HR Coordinator to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis in their Kurri Kurri office.
**You’ll be responsible for**:
- Handling employment-related enquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex matters to the appropriate team member
- Drafting employment agreements and preparing/managing new starters’ documentation
- Assisting with recruitment, pre-employment and onboarding tasks
- Helping to prepare documents, attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Running the core functions of HR
**Essentially you’ll have**:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR management or a related field
- Previous experience in a HR Coordinator or HR Generalist role
- Demonstrated proactive approach and ability to use initiative to progress tasks efficiently and effectively
- Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
- The ability to work autonomously in a busy and varied environment
