What you will be doing

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Operations Coordinator based in our Newcastle office.

As one of the leading global marine insurers, we aim to deliver the exceptional service and support that helps our members overcome risks and achieve their operational and technological goals.

As part of the People & Culture Team you will be the first point of contact and will be responsible for managing employee queries and coordinating various projects and tasks. In this varied role, you’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive, efficient, and effective administrative support to the People & Culture Team.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the team with the Onboarding & Offboarding processes.
- Assisting the team with reviewing and updating policy documents and letter templates.
- Working closely with the People Partners to understand the changes taking place in the different teams and supporting them with providing advice to managers/employees.
- Running and circulating reports from the HR system as requested. Analysing and identifying any trends and informing People Partners accordingly.
- Supporting the other People Operations Coordinator in the team and People Operations Assistant, with issuing letters to employees, including changes of Terms and Conditions.
- Working closely with the People Operations Lead to streamline systems and processes, ensuring that they support our business needs.

Your profile

**We are looking for**:

- Someone who is passionate about people and culture and looking to pursue a career in human resources.
- Have at least 1-2 years’ experience in a people operations related role and understand the employee life cycle.
- Are proactive, detail-oriented.
- Have strong communication skills and is a good team player.
