Our client is a well-known and respected organisation based in Newcastle, NSW. Always striving for excellence in all they do, an exciting HR contract opportunity has become available for a HR Officer, reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner. You will be a dedicated HR professional that loves building strong relationships with key stakeholders and you will live and breathe your employer’s brand, company values and vision.

As the HR Officer, you will be required to provide HR support and deliver best practice HR administration across a multi-department business. You will support the portfolio groups for your Senior HR Business Partner, deliver HR admin activities across the organisation as well as supporting the delivery of training and learning & development activities.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Support and co-ordinate end to end recruitment campaigns for your Senior HRBP
- Coordinate the employee onboarding and induction program
- Support and coordinate L&D initiatives, including planning and scheduling training sessions across the business, updating training records and assisting with monthly reports
- Coordinate and deliver all HR administration activities, working in collaboration with another HR Officer
- Keep all HR documents update and employee records
- Prepare HR documentation and reports
- HRIS maintenance and data entry

The key to your success in this role will be your demonstrated previous experience working as a HR administrator. You will have a proven ability to deliver business focused HR services in a timely manner and build strong collaborative working relationships across a range of business areas.

This is a busy and fast-paced position that requires an enthusiastic and professional person with a can-do attitude who can think on their feet and take ownership of the entire HR administration process.
