**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Our client is seeking an HR/WHSE Coordinator responsible for providing a range of HR administrative and support services in a professional manner to support HR best practice and business goals while working collaboratively with Branch Management, the Human Resources Team and employees. This role is for an experienced professional who has a proven ability to multitask, deal with sensitive and complex situations and provide support to supervisors in all aspects of HR.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide timely and solutions focused advice and support on all HR matters
- Participate in all stages relating to employment
- Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) ensuring all HR/WHSE information is fully up to date
- Provide advice and support on all HR operational and strategic issues to management and employees
- Maintain HR and WHSE statistics to ensure Branch and Board reporting requirements are met
- Undertake continuous personal and professional development through training opportunities provided
- Maintain membership and involvement with relevant professional associations
- Work within the framework of the company policy and procedures manual and HR/WHSE legislation to maintain QA Certification
- Demonstrate and promote company values and code of conduct
- Liaise with Payroll for the onboarding of new employees and associated employer/employee obligations
- Liaise with IT and support the IMS as required

**ABOUT YOU**
- Proven knowledge of State and Federal Employment legislation
- Valid qualification in Human Resources. WHSE experience desirable
- Extensive Human Resource Management experience including policy development and implementation
- Experience in a generalist Human Resource role
- Experience in Manufacturing/Engineering/SME industries would be desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high customer service focus
- Ability to work within the management team and with employees to support company objectives
- Confident and articulate
- Computer literate and demonstrated competence with Netsuite and Google Docs
- Ability and desire to work in a challenging environment
- Emotional maturity to contend with sensitive and confidential matters.
