We are on the hunt for commercially astute, progressive, and broadly experienced National Distribution Manager for our Australian business based in our Head Office in Macquarie Park, Sydney.

About the role

Managing the Warehousing and Distribution operations for Finished Goods and Spares and Consumables, this role drives leadership, continuous process improvement and a strong health and safety culture. Strong collaboration cross functionally to ensure operational processes are aligned to a safety, cost and service management approach is a strong focus.

You will be responsible for the Warehousing and Distribution budget and reporting and analysis on key drivers and variances. You will ensure appropriate stakeholder management approaches are taken with supply chain to ensure highly effective cross-functional collaboration with global supporting functions.

This is where you come in

You will have previous experience in In House and 3PL Operational Performance Management and Warehouse operations, as well as strong familiarity and experience with driving health, safety and environmental outcomes. You will be a great communicator and collaborator. Building rapport and being an influencer are all key attributes.- Substantial Leadership experience in a Distribution and Logistics environment essential- Proven leadership and coaching capabilities with proven results- Understanding and experience managing multiple Distribution Centres at a national level- You will be prepared to set and achieve challenging targets and expectations, take action, and consistently strive for outstanding results- A strong track record of defining and managing key SLAs and KPIs for in house Distribution teams and transportation and logistics partners- Advanced level of skill in using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of JDE. Able to use Microsoft Outlook to a competent level.
