**About the role**:
As the Operations Coordinator - Field and NATA, you'll be an integral part of our team responsible for air quality monitoring, modelling, assessments, and reporting across the state. Reporting directly to the Air Operations Lead, you'll manage the NATA quality system, and conduct essential laboratory and field work.

**In this role, you will**:
To be successful in this role you will be required to (not limited to):

- Implement, maintain, and manage the NATA quality system to ensure adherence to standards and technical records compliance.
- Plan and execute laboratory and field work operations, identify new technologies, and develop protocols for air monitoring services.
- Procure and manage scientific services and assets for air monitoring operations in compliance with corporate policies.
- Identify operational issues, manage risks, and implement improvements to enhance air monitoring operations.
- Support air monitoring during incidents or emergencies to understand environmental impacts rapidly.

**Skills and experience**:
Here are the types of experience, qualifications, and qualities we are looking for:

- Solid experience managing NATA accredited quality management systems, including auditing technical functions, and developing protocols, and standard operating procedures (Essential).
- Understanding of air quality monitoring principles and techniques. Proficiency in operating, calibrating, and troubleshooting scientific equipment and laboratory facilities (Essential).
- Proficient in managing technical records associated with field and lab calibrations, repairs, and maintenance. Experience in data validation and storage processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of monitoring data.
- Understanding of financial management processes, including budget development, monitoring, and reporting. Ability to optimise resource allocation and manage budgets effectively to support program priorities.
- Understanding of financial management, scientific equipment operation, environmental regulations, and data acquisition systems including Envista ARM and SiteCore. (Essential).
