**About the Agency**

Multicultural NSW exists to build and maintain a cohesive and harmonious multicultural society that enriches the lives of all people in NSW. Our work is underpinned by the Multicultural NSW Act 2000, which establishes Multicultural NSW as the lead NSW Government agency for promoting the multicultural principles and resolving issues relating to cultural diversity.

**Your role**

Provide customer service, advice, and solutions in accordance with agency policy and procedures. You will also undertake a range of administrative task in relation to the translation and interpreting service.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the role, you will:

- Respond to incoming telephone calls and provide information and guidance to convey a positive image of Multicultural NSW to community representatives and other contacts.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, participating actively in team meetings and projects, and provide advice on the effective delivery of services.
- Develop sound relationships with various stakeholders
- Provide high level of customer service to customers.

**What we’re looking for**
- Keping up to date with constant changes.
- Communicating clearly and sensitively with all customers.
- Experience in coordinating translation projects or understanding of translation principles.
