Camden Council’s Environment & Regulatory Services Branch are looking for a Client-Side Project Support Officer to provide client support in the delivery of the Camden Animal Shelter and related projects.

The successful applicant will have experience in project management coordination as well as an operational understanding of animal shelters or a similar environment.

**Essential**:

- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in project management/coordination and administration
- Demonstrated understanding about the operations of animal shelters (or transferable knowledge from a similar role) and proven ability to develop an operating model for an animal shelter or similar
- Experience developing and preparing reports, documentation and presentations relevant to project management and coordination
- Well-developed customer service, communication and problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly developed time management skills with a demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities and projects with competing priorities.

**Desirable**:

- Understanding of Local Government operations, processes, procurement and administrative procedures
- To meet Council’s WHS requirements and in accordance with Council’s Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs._
