Camden Council's Digital, Technology and Innovation Branch is looking for an experienced Digital Projects Support Officer to join the team for a temporary period up to June 2025.

Reporting to the Enterprise Architect and IT Portfolio Coordinator, you will assist with the delivery and coordination of projects and initiatives pertained in Camden Council's Digital Innovation Strategy and road map.

Essential:

  • Experience developing and preparing reports, documentation and presentations relevant to project management and coordination
  • Welldeveloped communication and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver quality outcomes
  • Highly developed time management skills with a demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities and projects with competing priorities
  • Knowledge and experience in the delivery of digital projects
  • Demonstrated customer service focus
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in project management and administration.

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualifications or certification in project management principles
  • Understanding of Local Government operations, processes, procurement and administrative procedures
  • Previous experience in Local government or a similar environment.
  • To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs._
