Camden Council has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and professional Project Support Officer to join our Contribution Planning team.

Reporting to the Coordinator Contributions Planning, this position will be responsible for providing project support in the coordination and delivery of specific Contribution Planning related projects and initiatives.

Essential:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in project management, administration, planning or a related discipline
  • Experience developing and preparing reports, documentation and presentations relevant to project management and coordination
  • Welldeveloped communication, negotiation and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver quality outcomes
  • Highly developed time management skills with a demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities and projects with competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated customer service focus

Desirable:

-
A sound working knowledge of Local Government corporate systems

  • Sound working knowledge of entering, analysing and processing data
  • Working knowledge of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 197
  • Working knowledge of contracts and the language contained in them
- _To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs._
