Council has three roles within the sport and recreation team that support 140 clubs and over 25,000 sporting participants.

**The Roles**
- Supports the effective preparation, management, and monitoring of the operating contracts at Council’s aquatic and leisure facilities including Thomastown Recreation and Aquatic Centre, Mill Park Leisure Centre and Whittlesea Swim Centre.
- Supports maintaining an effective, collaborative, and purposeful partnership with the Yarra Plenty Regional Library (YPRL) Service, in their delivery of the City of Whittlesea’s four library services; Mill Park, Lalor, Whittlesea and Thomastown; and
- Supports asset maintenance for the above facilities, as well as forward planning providing advice and guidance in planning, design and operations of future facilities.

Reporting to the Coordinator Leisure Contracts, you will contribute to creating stronger, healthier and more connected communities through effective management with our service partners.

**About you**
You will have demonstrated experience and proven track record in
- Management and monitoring of partnership service contracts.
- Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data, analyses, and trends to support evidence-based planning, decision making, and improvement.
- Developing strong partnerships, relationships and buy-in across a diverse organisation and community.
- Working collaboratively with leadership, stakeholders, staff, community and the leisure, library and recreation sector.
