We are looking for a proactive Administration Assistant to join our Newcastle Business Advisory Services team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career and learn on the job, get a taste of an office environment and potentially build a strong career path in administration or the various avenues within accounting.

This role involves offering a superior level of administrative support and assistance, ensuring adherence to PKF administration standards and procedures; as well as consistently providing top-notch internal and external client service.

Key responsibilities
- Recording and processing of mail (electronic and hard copy)
- Preparation of ‘pre jobs’ for compliance work
- Collation of client reporting packages
- NBAS representative for ad hoc assistance to the firm in need (e.g. Reception cover)
- Coordination of business unit training arrangements
- Processing tasks in GreatSoft database
- General assistance to business unit Team Coordinators as required
- Ad hoc projects throughout the year as directed

What you need to apply
- No qualifications required
- A great attitude towards learning and assisting with all necessary admin tasks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
