**Job Purpose**:
With an extensive selection of marquees and associated event equipment, we pride ourselves on delivering tailored solutions that enhance each occasion. Our dedicated team is the backbone of our operation, ensuring every aspect of the event setup is executed flawlessly.

Positioned in Melbourne, the Event Organiser will take the helm of our Event team, ensuring every event we manage is seamless from start to finish.
**Salary**: $75,000 - $85,000pa + super depending on your experience
**Main Duties**:
- Consult with clients to understand their marquee and event equipment needs for weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private parties.
- Design floor plans and layouts for marquee setups that cater to the size of the event and client specifications.
- Coordinate the delivery, setup, and dismantling of marquees and related equipment, ensuring all timelines are met.
- Manage inventory and maintenance of marquees and event equipment to ensure quality and readiness for hire.
- Develop itemized quotes for clients, outlining costs for marquee hire, equipment, and additional services.
- Oversee the on-site installation team to ensure the marquees and event setups meet safety standards and client satisfaction.
- Liaise with vendors for additional event services such as lighting, sound equipment, and décor.
- Coordinate with event caterers and other service providers to ensure seamless integration of services within the marquee setup.
- Handle any client concerns or adjustments required during the event planning process and on the event day.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure the location is suitable for marquee installation and to plan layout accurately.
- Maintain a portfolio of event setups and configurations to showcase options to potential clients.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in event planning and marquee design to provide innovative solutions and enhancements to clients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with clients to determine their requirements for marquees and event equipment.
- Design custom layouts for marquee setups, tailored to each event’s specific needs.
- Schedule and oversee the transport, assembly, and disassembly of marquees and equipment.
- Maintain the marquee and event equipment inventory, ensuring all items are in excellent condition.
- Provide detailed quotations to clients, including all necessary marquee and event equipment hire costs.
- Lead and direct on-site teams during the installation and removal of event setups, guaranteeing efficiency and safety.
- Partner with external vendors for supplementary services such as decor, audio-visual equipment, and lighting.
- Work in concert with caterers and other service providers to ensure their offerings are well-integrated with the marquee space.
- Address client inquiries, requests, and issues promptly and professionally.
- Perform site inspections prior to events to plan marquee placements and prepare for any site-specific requirements.
- Create a catalogue of marquee configurations and setups to aid in client consultations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to offer clients innovative and contemporary event solutions.
**Essential Skills Criteria**:
- Diploma of Event Management or higher or relevant equivalent or at least 3 years work experience in lieu of the formal qualification
- at least 2 years relevant work experience in events management
- Client Service Skills: Ability to understand and fulfill client needs, manage expectations, and deliver exceptional service.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in both written and verbal communication, capable of conducting negotiations and providing clear instructions to team members and vendors.
- Organizational Skills: Strong capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail.
- Project Management: Experience in planning and overseeing projects from conception to completion, meeting tight deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and swiftly develop solutions to ensure the event proceeds smoothly.
