In addition to our success in Australia, we also have a growing international presence in New Zealand, China, and Ireland.- Over the last 24 months, we have had the good fortune of seeing our business adapt to the obvious challenges and consolidate our status as the market leader and as a result, we are recruiting for a Store Development Officer (SDO) to join us at our head office based in Preston.**About the Role**
- This role sits within our Store Operations & Support department, which works with established and new stores to enhance their retail operations and overall retail performance.- As a Store Development Officer, you will help stores to minimise product gaps on-shelf by providing them with training and on-the-ground support, whilst also working to reduce the volume of excess stock held in our stores and in our distribution centres (DCs).- In this varied and busy role, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Work at stores to develop, test and monitor different ways for ordering stock to ensure their shelves are filled
- Monitor compliance with the ‘10 ways to manage stock and stock rationalization’, ensuring gaps are actioned as instructed by SOS Department
- Test and train staff at store level on current and new systems for stock management, including:

- Ordering Procedures
- Out of Stock Procedures
- Gap Investigations
- Invoice Management
- Storeroom Management
- Actioning Stock Management Reports
- Daily Tasks and Priorities
- Review existing procedures, create, and implement new procedures where needed
- Assist in the development and roll out of How to Guides and How to Videos
- Providing support for SOS colleagues in their day-to-day work as directed by management.

**About you**- Good working knowledge of _My Retail Manager _(or equivalent software), Ordering and Reporting systems as well as a strong knowledge of current ordering and out of stock procedures at store level.
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Highly organised, with an ability to prioritise and multitask
- Excellent analytical and numeracy skills and the ability to problem solve
- A preparedness to take the initiative and a strong drive to achieve results
- Good general IT and Computer skills including Microsoft Excel Skills as well as the ability to pick up new programs quickly
- The successful applicant will also be required to return a satisfactory National Criminal History Check outcome._
