- _Store Support Officer
  • Compliance _to join us.
    About the role
  • This role sits within our Store Operations & Support department, which works with both existing and new stores to enhance their retail operations and overall retail performance.
  • Based out of our Preston head office but with regular travel to our store sites required your core focus as Store Support Officer is to support stores to improve their compliance with Chemist Warehouse retail standards and therefore enhance their overall retail operations.
  • In doing so, you will conduct regular instore visits to assess their retail operations (internal reviews/audits) and then create plans with store owners and employees for training (or other support) targeted towards improving their compliance with Chemist Warehouse standards, and therefore improve the store's overall performance.
  • Your regular responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating and preparing head office teams for store visits, including scheduling, communications to stores, and creation of assessment and other preparatory materials
  • Visiting stores (nationwide) to complete assessments of their store performance
  • Devising storespecific training and support plans to help stores improve
  • Delivering training programs with key storebased staff
  • Reviewing and updating existing training documentation

About you

  • To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 3 years' experience working in store, ideally in a Retail Manager/Coordinator role.

In addition, the successful applicant will have:

  • Good working knowledge of Catalogue & Compliance and moderate to immediate ordering knowledge
  • Creativity and attention to detail is a must
  • Highly organised and with an ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make major decisions in conjunction with Store Support Manager
  • Compliance
  • A preparedness to take the initiative and a strong desire to achieve results
  • Good general IT and Computer skills
  • The following personal attributes are also required
  • Hands on practical approach
  • A mentoring / coaching style with the ability to transfer skills and knowledge
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment
  • Work under pressure and high stress environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to informative and firm when required
  • The successful applicant will also be required to return a satisfactory National Criminal History Check outcome._
