PRIMARY FOCUS
The primary focus and responsibilities of this role are:

  • To visit stores across the CW Retail Services Group to assess their compliance to company standards
  • Assist with the setup of relays/new stores by open date
  • To assist with company goal of reducing excess stock at stores and in the DCs
To visit stores and provide support and training to store level staff
COMPLIANCE

  • Visit stores in your state with the State Support Manager to assess how each store is complying to company standards for Stock Management, Catalogue & Promotional Execution and merchandising Working with the Owner, Store Manager, Retail Manager or 2IC come to an agreed score for the store

STORE SETUPS OR RELAYS

  • Have the ability to execute all planograms, catalogue, compliance and general merchandising with speed and accuracy
  • Ensure store is setup to a high standard by store opening date Providing support and training to new stores in the first two weeks of new store openings

STORE OPERATIONS & SUPPORT

  • Ensure stores are following all correct stock management procedures including ordering, 10 Steps to manage stock, invoicing etc
  • Assist Stores with Stock Rationalisation
  • Assist with the execution of roll outs, in store, of new instore initiatives set out by Head Office Training retail staff on everyday operations, using the SOS Store Staff Training Checklist

General Responsibilities

  • Provide quality information to the Store Support Team Leader/Manager in all areas of responsibilities
  • As and when required, undertake additional projects or activities as directed by management
  • Provide assistance and support to other members of the team in performance of their roles and responsibilities
  • Take all reasonable care for their own and others safety and wellbeing while at work
  • Provide quality information to the Store Support Team Leader/Manager and Store Support Manager (Interstate) in all areas of responsibilities Able to adapt to working autonomously and also within a team

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 12 years' experience at store level. Preferably 2IC or Retail Manager experience however not essential
  • Good working knowledge of My Retail Manager system, as well as strong knowledge of current stock management and instore compliance activity
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Highly organised and with an ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make decisions A preparedness to take the initiative and a strong desire to achieve results
