**About the role**:

Due to an internal transfer, NHP currently have a vacancy for an experienced and empowering
**Customer Service Team Leader **to join our Richmond team
**.**
***
Reporting to our Customer Experience Manager, you will lead, develop & motivate a team of Customer Service Consultants, providing them with excellent guidance and leadership to enable them to deliver industry leading customer service standards and contribute to the achievement of overall performance.
In this role you will be fortunate to work with a personable and people focused Customer Experience Manager who ‘leads by example’ and will provide valuable support and guidance on your journey.
Please note - this is not a call centre environment.
**Other associated tasks include**:
- Identify, develop & implement activities to improve operational performance
- Be proactive in the identification and execution of team development, coaching & training
- Provide resolutions to escalated customer issues & complaints
- Ensure appropriate allocation of resources through monitoring & evaluating business needs & trends
- Continuous process improvement
**What we are looking for**:
- Proven leadership and people management experience (minimum of 2-3 years’)
- Passion for developing others - support and coach your Customer Service Team to success
- Ability to build strong relationships internally and with customers over the phone
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
- A critical thinker**
