**About the Role**:
The Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Key Worker role provides a unique opportunity to support children and their families in reaching their NDIS goals through best practices in early childhood intervention within the child's natural settings. This position involves working one-on-one with children and their families to help them realise their full potential.

Therapy is tailored to meet individual needs, delivered by the ECEI key worker, who may also collaborate with specialised professionals as needed. This includes referring to and coordinating with experts like speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, or physiotherapists, who may be brought in to assist the family at crucial stages throughout the intervention process.

**Key Requirements**:

- Appropriate qualifications, registrations and experience in the field
- Experience working with children with a disability/developmental delay and their families
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Valid Australian Drivers License, Car and insurance
- Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police Check

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
We are seeking qualified and experienced individuals who value flexibility in their work and personal life to join our expanding organisation as Early Childhood Intervention Key Workers. If you are an occupational therapist, speech pathologist, or teacher with experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities, and possess a solid understanding of child development along with skills in assessing children's abilities and functioning, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Key Worker you will:

- Deliver therapy for children aged 0 to 9 years, in the child’s home and or community setting, using the ECEI Family-centred approach.
- Develop, set and review a Family Services & Support Plan for each child and complete required reports annually.
- Coordinate and plan supports with the child and family that reflect goals and strengths
- Have a good understanding of best practice in early childhood
- Use evidence based practices in delivering therapeutic supports
- Deliver supports to children and families that lead to positive outcomes, utilising a transdisciplinary approach
- Draw on more specialised expertise, liaise in greater detail with the relevant professionals.
- Ensure that supports are clearly documented, coordinated, and communicated to families.
- Keep appropriate records /case notes, within expected timeframes that clearly document activities undertaken and ensure all documentation are comprehensive, factual and complies with, professional guidelines and policies.
- Have a reasonable understanding of the NDIS

Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 38 per week
