**The Role**
The Victoria State Office operates in a dynamic environment and is responsible for the frontline delivery of the department’s employment, skills and training initiatives.

The Executive Assistant is responsible for directly supporting the Victoria State Manager in her day-to-day business, with a strategic focus on the key work being undertaken across the State.

Reporting directly to the Victoria State Manager, the Executive Assistant plays a vital role in providing high quality support and service. A key feature of this role is building strong collaborative working relationships across the State office and broader Division.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, highly motivated, highly organised individual who works well in a fast-paced business environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Diary management and triaging the workflow through the State Manager’s office, which may include complex or sensitive requests, anticipating and managing changing circumstances and ensuring priorities and deadlines are met.
- Meeting preparation, coordinating papers, speaking notes, briefing notes and regular reports for the State Manager.
- Written and verbal communication to the Victoria Leadership Group and Victoria Office staff.
- Communicate with influence in order to progress decisions and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Represent the State Manager and Victoria Leadership Group in dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
