**Payroll Team Leader** to be a driving force in their Melbourne Team
As a Team Leader, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Payroll Manager and leading the payroll operations team to excellence. This full-time, permanent hybrid role offers a perfect blend of stability and flexibility, allowing you to strike a harmonious work-life balance.
To be the right fit for the role you will be;
- Masterful in utilising multiple payrolls and T&A systems (experience in Payroll Metrics highly desired)
- Proven experience leading a payroll team through end-to-end processes, including training, recruitment, and employee engagement discussions
- A wizard with payroll software, time and attendance systems (t&a), Microsoft Excel, and Word - proficient in producing and interpreting reports (experience in Payroll Metrics highly desired)
- Prior experience in Payroll Outsourcing or shared/client services environment - a definite plus
- A pro in client and key stakeholder engagement
- Seasoned in running pay (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
- Minimum 2-3 years of end-to-end payroll experience, adeptly managing tasks such as New Employees, Terminations, Redundancies, Variations to Employment, Leave Processing, Deductions, Allowances, Bonuses, Choice of Super
- Familiar with managing Statutory Third Party Payments (Payroll Tax, Super, Workcover, Centrelink, PAYG Remittance), and skilled in overpayment/underpayment calculations and reporting
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work under pressure and meet payroll deadlines
