Business Services provides a full range of class leading information technology, facilities management, finance, HR and health and safety services to all operating entities of the University.

**About the Role**
Responsible for the effective management and administration of Workcover claims in accordance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act and University systems and processes. Provide consistent and authoritative advice on legislative and WorkCover administrative matters.

You will be surrounded by like-minded team members who not only want to ensure a healthy and safe environment but strive to make health and safety easy to understand and simply integrated in everyone’s day to day activities. You will support the communication of Health and Safety initiatives. The team meets regularly, support each other and chat on Teams is utilised daily. We encourage open communication and respect individuals’ skills and experience.

Responsibilities include:

- Determine initial liability
- Analyse and assess ongoing entitlements under the Act
- Contribute to claims management systems development and review
- Maintain records and assist Returning Injured Personnel to Work

**About You**
We are seeking a skilled professional to join out team as a Case Management Specialist and make a significant impact in managing WorkCover claims. As a problem-solver and game-changer, you will have a proven track record of effective communication and consultation with stakeholders at all levels. Your unique combination of analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your ability to think outside the box, will allow you to develop innovative solutions to complex issues. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must, as well as a passion for delivering top-notch customer service. You will also have:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
- Allied Health Background or similar experience in healthcare industry essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with injured workers, line managers and human resources professionals to deliver effective injury management and return to work services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in relation to Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act.
