The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart is located just steps from Hobart’s waterfront and the city’s top restaurants and attractions. Presenting 152 luxuriously appointed guest rooms and suites with carefully restored features and adorned with exclusive art pieces from local artists, The Tasman reflects the true spirit of the destination.

**Job Summary**

The Concierge role at The Tasman, Hobart offers a rare opportunity for a passionate individual to be part of a very special team, supporting all aspects of the Concierge function.

Managing daily operations, the Concierge will assist in developing and maintaining the acknowledgment and unique service of all guests visiting the location that will lead to a unique, memorable and personal stay.

In addition, the Concierge is accountable for:

- Supports day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise, and accomplish work.
- Focus on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial results.
- Establishes relationships with local attractions, restaurants and other businesses to enhance guests’ experiences.
- Responds to emergency situations using appropriate procedures.
- Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
- Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints.
- Valid working rights in Australia
- 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area
- Experience in a Concierge role
- Understanding of Hotel program management systems such as OPERA
- Strong ability to problem solve and think on your feet - solutions focused
- Passionate about customer service and ability to maintain positive relations with guests
- Confidentiality, tact and discretion a must
