**The Company**:
This exceptional not-for-profit research organisation was established in Australia in the early 1900's and now has offices across the globe. They are looking for a Marketing & Communications Advisor to join their Communications division to develop the external profile, brand and image of the Association.

**The Role**:
The Marketing & Communications Advisor will report into the Corporate Communications Manager. The Marketing & Communications Advisor will be responsible for supporting the global advocacy and communications for the Association, including helping to develop the external profile, brand and image of the Association and its constituent teams
- . _

Key Responsibilities include;
- Works closely with various internal teams to help communicate their research findings to their partners and the broader community through a range of social and traditional media channels
- Coordinates marketing and communications work relating to the team’s flagship programs and services
- Develops effective and collaborative relationships with partners
- Supports and implements plans for managing effective internal and external marketing communications, in consultation with key stakeholders
- Contributes to the planning, implementation and monitoring of strategies to build awareness of the Association's overall agenda and work among partner organisations and key stakeholders
- Contributes to the development and implementation of strategic communications plans and other strategic activities to promote the Association's agenda.
- Helps increase engagement with the Association's websites by maintaining relevant, up-to-date, quality content
- Contributes to the development of key websites by identifying user personas and journeys, advising on appropriate taxonomy and structures, and writing content
- Contributes to coordination of the organisation-wide communications channel mix for the Association, including advising on the creation of new channels
- Monitors social media trends, provide advice on social media best practice and use innovative techniques to increase reach and engagement
- Develops and implements social media marketing initiatives
- Produces targeted and engaging content for the Association's media and social media channels, EDMs and print and online publications, and contributes to the sourcing, writing and editing of information for other publications as required
- Excellent oral and written skills, including writing, sub-editing and proof-reading ability
- Ability to work accurately and to deadlines
- Ability to plan, implement and measure digital marketing campaigns across different platforms
- Experience using social media management software and Google marketing suite
- Experience in liaising with creative and online services staff during the development of content.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people, including those at a senior level, and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across global offices and different cultures to deliver high quality communications outcomes
- Experience in conducting market research to inform marketing communication strategies and campaigns
