**About the position**

The AV Systems Specialist supports and maintains the NSW Parliament's AV and broadcast systems, including its infrastructure. This involves supervising the AVB Help Desk, ensuring the high availability of critical systems, and ensures the smooth operation of AV and broadcast technology by proactively addressing and resolving user issues. Additionally, the specialist manages support workflows with vendors, suppliers, and contractors working on a wide range of AVB systems.

The AV Systems Specialist plays an active role in the Parliament's strategic planning, developing and implementing strategies to improve processes, services, and Back-of-House operations across all AVB areas. They also leverage their knowledge and expertise to contribute to NSW Parliament projects that upgrade systems or introduce new services.

**About you**

With experience in administration and business planning you will contribute to the development of operational guidelines, policy proposals, and strategic plans, with a focus on data-driven reporting to senior management. Your ability to manage both technical and strategic aspects of AV systems will be instrumental in driving operational success and continuous improvement of the AVB division.
