About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Sydney CBD offices. As an AV Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving IT and AV infrastructure to enable more effective and efficient use of technology.

Job Description

The role involves providing onsite support at the Sydney CBD offices as well as virtual support for the rest of offices across Australia. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and improving IT and AV infrastructure systems
  • Installation or replacement of new AV equipment as necessary
  • Maintaining system security and monitoring IT/AV performance
  • Preparing technical documentation outlining installation and commissioning of IT/AV solutions
  • Development of contingency plans for IT/AV equipment failure
  • Identifying and escalating risks and assisting in their resolution
  • Enhancing system configuration using software and hardware skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience working as an Audio Visual (AV) Technician with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar capacity
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AV infrastructure systems
  • Expertise with AV technologies such as tablet touch screens, network amplifiers, mobile AV carts, interactive touch displays, USB bridges, HD capture dongles, microphones, visual displays, audio conferencing processors, LCD laser projectors, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT/AV technology usage in corporate/commercial settings
  • Sound knowledge of the ITIL framework
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical language into easy-to-understand language
