**Role Details**: The System Support Officer is a role within People and Performance and is accountable to the Principal Consultant, Learning and Professional Development for:

- Coordinating and providing a range of administration and student recruitment functions that support the Learning and Professional Development team including maintaining hard copy and electronic records, information and relevant databases and preparing correspondence and reports.
- Maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to promote a positive outlook towards professional development and provide a responsive point of contact service for student recruitment, placement, Learning and Professional Development queries and issues.

Key Outcomes and Accountabilities:
1. Provide a range of administrative functions to support the Learning and Professional Development team including maintaining hard copy and electronic records, information and relevant databases and preparing correspondence and reports as required. Experience in the use of WorldLearn will be highly regarded.

2. Provide administrative support related to, and where required back up, extracting and reporting on data and information provided by registered training organisations such as TAFE SA to identify suitably qualified students that will meet DHS position requirements.

3. Provide a responsive point of contact service for queries and information in relation to student recruitment, placement, Learning and Professional Development queries and issues and provide high quality support to staff and students, as required.

4. Maintain strong partnerships between Organisational Development and Learning, Departmental staff and registered training providers that promotes a positive outlook towards professional development and student placement within the workplace.

5. Coordinate the logistics for professional development events and activities including invitations, attendance tracking, venue bookings, event set up and any other related administration.

6. Assist with student recruitment and placement case management activities to support the effective and timely supply of human resources for a range of DHS service delivery functions, particularly Youth Justice and Disability Services.

7. Contribute to Learning and Professional Development projects and improvement processes including identifying, developing and maintaining administrative processes.

Note: Any other responsibilities in line with the classification level of the role as assigned by Line Manager and/or the Department. The responsibilities as specified above may be altered in accordance with the changing requirements of the role.

**Special Conditions**: National Police Check required.

Some out of hours work may be required.

Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.

Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
