The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) provides care for more than 400,000 people living in the northern metropolitan area of Adelaide and boasts newly redeveloped wards and Emergency and Outpatient Departments, with plans for the addition of more brand-new facilities in the near future. The Data Manager and Digital Systems Support Officer is responsible for working with and supporting allied Health and Aboriginal Health to develop, enhance and implement strategies that will maximise the effective use of client-based information systems and programs within their units.

An integral component of this role will be to foster strong and effective relationships, and the interaction and consultation with the system administrators and key stakeholders involved with the provision of health services.

The role will require sound skills in the ability to understand the needs of a diverse mix of health units, and ensure those needs are duly represented when co-ordinating new developments or system enhancements. Commitment to a high level of data integrity in maintaining an effective client information system and sound reporting skills are also essential.
