Southern Cross Care QLD currently have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Administration Officer to join our team at our Duhig Village Residential Aged Care Home in Holland Park.

Working in his role, you will provide effective and confidential administrative support to the Residential Manager and provide assistance in admission of residents.

**What are the responsibilities?**

Duties of this role would include but not be limited to:

- Assisting with new admissions to the facility
- Liaising with residents and their families to support the transition into care from an administrative perspective
- Reception duties - face to face and over the phone
- Process invoices in preparation for payment and maintenance of petty cash
- Maintain staff personal records including registrations and certificates
- Assist in minute taking for committee meetings as required.

**What you will bring to the role?**
- Experience working in an administrative role within Aged Care (desired but not essential)
- Excellent administrative and reception experience
- Understanding of staff rosters
- Written and oral communication and numerical skills
- Problem solving
- Time, task and priority management
- Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people, you are someone who is welcoming with good communication skills.
