Woolworths Food Company is a platform of businesses within Woolworths Group. The businesses are Woolworths Food Company Retail (WFCR), Australia Grocery Wholesalers, Greenstock and Refresh within Woolworths Group.

In WFCR, we partner with dynamic suppliers to develop a range of Woolworths Own Brand and exclusive brand products, which meet the ongoing and changing needs of Woolworths customers.

Our integrated teams of Sourcing Specialists, Product Developers, Packaging Specialists, Customer Insights & Sensory Specialists, Chefs, Commercial Specialists, and Branders work closely with suppliers and partners to deliver the best balance of quality, value, taste, nutrition, and innovation for our customers.

**What you’ll do
- Facilitate the creation of Own Brand plans, analysing their effectiveness to inform future decisions, demonstrates an understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour to maximise commercial outcomes
- Analyse complex problems to determine optimal time and money investment reveals an ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, and make strategic decisions for commercial benefitWork within an agile framework to deliver strategic outcomes, influencing stakeholders both internally and externally, and collaborating across teams, highlights the ability to adapt, build consensus, and drive commercially successful solutions

**What you’ll bring
- We are seeking a strategic and commercial leader with a strong understanding of the Group's strategic direction and effectively communicate it across the organisation
- Proven experience as an Assistant Category Manager or Category Manager in a large supermarket or FMCG environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and champion innovative commercial Own Brand opportunities that align with overarching objectives and adapt to evolving market dynamics
- Strong negotiation and influence skills with cross-functional and external stakeholders at all levels of the businessPassion for product and product development, staying at the forefront of innovation and continuous improvement
