About the role

Responsibilities include
- Promote, coordinate, and deliver the CaLD Emerging Leaders Training
- Implement and support the Stages of Intercultural Faith Communities framework for mission engagement
- Coordinate training and support for front-line mission expressions in intercultural mission engagement opportunities
- Engage in broader national initiatives of the Intercultural and Disability Inclusion Team
- Collaborate with peers across the Mission Support Department to promote Intercultural Mission Development opportunities across The Salvation Army

This is a permanent full-time position, based in Blackburn, VIC. Some domestic travel is required. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.

You will have
- Strong communication, leadership and have good interpersonal skills
- Well-developed discipleship and leadership development skills
- Experience in a faith-based ministry or cross-cultural mission position
- Experience working with people from CaLD backgrounds
- Experience in community engagement or development
- Tertiary qualification in Theology or Christian Ministry _(desirable)_
- A Current Valid Driver's Licence
