The Communications and Engagement Specialist is responsible for driving a broad range of communications activities internally while also contributing to engaging external key stakeholders from time to time. Metso Outotec is seeking someone with previous experience in Communication to support the organisation in building strong communications and engagement. This role adds value by building an engaged team culture through timely, accurate, engaging, and relevant communications to all employees through a suite of internal communications channels. We’re looking for an enthusiastic stakeholder engagement professional with excellent communication and organisation skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Acts as an ambassador for the Company’s value based behaviors and drives change & transformation programs
Participate in setting objectives for the internal communication and engagement agenda and track progress
Support, suggest and implement improvement to HR process
Handle all internal communications for Metso Outotec Asia Pacific to enhance employee relations and engagement
Implement best internal communication practices and develop solutions to help improve communications to our internal audience
Create strategic communications plans for our company to deliver important messages effectively
Coordinate content production and publishing across a range of digital and traditional mediums, channels, and platforms, including messaging, SharePoint intranet content, fact sheets, FAQs, presentations, Yammer posts and user guides
Collaborate with the global communications team to assist in developing assets for our company communications
Develop content for company-wide events such as monthly Town Hall and the face-to-face annual conference. This includes managing the agenda, overseeing messaging, creating assets (eg presentations, video), sourcing and briefing external speakers and more.
Partner with HR to deliver and amplify moments that matter to enhance the employee experience and our reputation as a great place to work.
Identify internal communication gaps and opportunities
External communication strategies to enhance employee value proposition communication opportunities
Assist in the monitoring and reporting on social and traditional media
Owning employee Engagement tool and Engagement plans
Organisation and execution of internal employee activities/events

**KPIs**:
Employee engagement survey results
Internal customer satisfaction
Success of communications campaigns

**To Succeed**:
Bachelor's qualification and/or relevant experience in corporate communications - ideally in the resources sector.
Experience assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of engagement activities across the organisation
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to timeframes.
Experience with graphic design programs such as Photoshop and Canva.
Highly developed writing, communication, organisation and planning skills and the ability to translate technical language and concepts into audience-specific messaging
Experience in creating engaging digital content across a range of platforms.
Confident and collaborative project management skills.
