**The Role**

Reporting to the Manager Business Transformation and Customer Experience, located in Windsor, you will promote customer centricity and leads a strategic program of Business Improvement across the Council and is expected to influence all Council staff and drive a culture of Operational Excellence.

You will work closely with Managers and Coordinators to review service functions, programs, projects, practices, and processes across the organisation to drive our approach to Operational Excellence.

**About You**

You will have the ability to lead, motivate and provide direction to a team, and be a team player that fosters good working relationships and works collaboratively with others. You will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. You will be able to take ownership and responsibility for problems until resolution, and to deliver results and respond effectively to changing circumstances and competing priorities.

**Essential Criteria**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Organisational Design, Information Technology, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Change Management and/or minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Significant relevant experience leading successful business improvement functions and projects, in a complex environment with demonstrable results using continuous improvement and change management methodologies
- Demonstrated workshop facilitation experience
- Proven experience in driving cultural change in a diverse organisation
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills with proven high-level data analytics and reporting experience
