**About Us**
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean and Blue Mountains and Lithgow Region.

Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.

As the Business Manager, you will provide high level leadership and support to the General Manager of Hawkesbury District Health Service. This includes the provision of advice and support on financial, business, corporate and performance related matters. The role will take part in Performance and Strategy meetings with the Finance BP to support the General Manager in outlining the site performance of financial, activity and FTE with key corrective actions to achieve a balanced budget.

Key to the success is working collaboratively with the Finance Business Partner, Hospital Executives, and Head of Departments to positively influence the financial performance of the hospital. You will champion change management processes by engaging stakeholders to implement improvement plans. The incumbent will lead delegated quality improvement projects, develop operational service plans, and implement effective governance systems to ensure such expenditure aligns with delegated responsibilities and service needs

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Tertiary qualifications in the area of Health Administration/Management or Business, supported by experience in the operational management and leadership of health services.
- Demonstrated experience as an executive team member within a public or private sector hospital, whereby operational and organisation-wide financial and business advice is provided in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a corporate support team to achieve best practice in cost effective administrative systems and contribute to optimal patient outcomes and the patient experience.
- Demonstrated experience in high-level written and verbal communication, including proven ability to effectively and efficiently consult, liaise and negotiate and problem solve in order to establish and maintain formal relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, inclusive of a diverse range of professionals and organisations.
- Demonstrated and strongly developed strategic, analytical skills, including demonstrated proficiency in financial and data analysis, activity-based management, service development with ability to collaborate with a diverse range of professionals and organisations.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel. Ability to travel within the LHD in accordance with the position.
