**Work in a supportive and collaborative Squad in Revenue NSW**

We have an opportunity for an experienced **IT Delivery Lead** to manage all software development and releases for a squad of 10-14 IT oriented people within Revenue NSW. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by deploying suitable agile frameworks such as scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD etc or a combination of those. The focus is on releasing our software products to our customers on time, while maintaining compliance with quality and laid out governance frameworks.

Providing leadership and managing the squad member’s professional and personal development is also a key focus. The role has no direct reports.

**Key Accountability**:

- ** **Source, analyse and establish business requirements and scope IT effort to meet release timelines
- Always establish and maintain squad capacity and constantly review talent profile for estimated future tasks
- Plan and run Agile ceremonies and ensure these are understood and productive
- Understand and effectively communicates to the Principal Product Owner teams' release health (size of backlog, backlog priorities, and velocity of the team, plan to consume points, dependencies, and visibility to team and governance forums)
- Actively improve flow of work by identifying, escalating, and helping to remove impediments/ blockers/waste for the team when required
- Work collaboratively with other squads to share people resources, coordinate deployment environments, testing schedules and release management
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Encourage and help the team to improve on processes with clear focus towards automation
- Build relationships and collaboration with team members and help foster trust and honesty within the team

**To be successful in this position you will**:

- Experience in Scrum and/or Kanban agile frameworks
- Experience in release and deployment management
- Experience in leading/ managing cross functional software teams
- Experience in common IT PM tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar
- Experience in problem solving and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Functional knowledge of SDLC/ ITIL. Any certifications in IT project management/ agile delivery, such as CSM or PSM etc will be advantageous
