**Position Description**:
The Key Account Executive is responsible for supporting the development of sales and promotional strategies that align with category and brand strategies and helping implement these strategies within nominated key retail and veterinary corporate customers and buying groups, online accounts, and wholesalers in Australia.

Success in this role involves:

- Support Key Account Managers/Channel Managers in the daily management and maintenance of large key partners
- The development and maintenance of commercial relationships amongst specified key accounts and across multiple internal functional teams whilst achieving forecast sales and profit targets.
- Support strategies developed at a national business unit level that promote growth within the Companion Animal Business Unit nominated key customers.
- Drive growth in the accounts tracking both sell-in and sell out (where scan data exists.)
- Developing unique promotional programs, aligned to the Marketing and sales calendar that drive sales and market share.
- Manage Gross to Net effectively.
- Invest in well thought through promotional plans that are margin accretive.
- Work with the accounts (as defined) to develop strong joint business plans

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience (science and/or Business / Marketing qualifications preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Key Account/ National Account Management role, preferably in Animal Health or FMCG Sectors.
- Have strong planning and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies and tactics and measure ROI post implementation. Capability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong commercial skill set that can be used to identify potential business opportunities and issues.
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
